Bringing friends together is what we do. This winter has brought great boating weather to Charleston. We had another perfect day for a charter this past weekend. The sun was out with just a slight breeze. We had 4 couples from out of town visiting their friends who just moved to Charleston.
Cruising the Battery and anchoring up in the Charleston Harbor
As we were cruising around the Battery and talking with them about White Point Gardens, they asked if we could anchor in the middle of the Harbor to eat lunch. We found a spot right next to Shuttes Folly and Castle Pickney.
We anchored Sweet Tea and shut the engine down. The only other boats around were a sailboat race going on next to us. It was a perfect, quiet, and peaceful time. We typically are cruising the whole time to show as much as we can to our guests, so this was a fun change for us.
After lunch, they wanted to get close to the USS Yorktown so we cruised over and got some great pictures. Time was coming to an end so we headed back in.
A Charleston Boat Tour That Will Make You Smile
There were smiles all around as they disembarked—we had the biggest ones of all after getting to do a little different Harbor Tour. All of us at Charleston Yacht Tours love the water and any chance we get to be on it. We hear all the time from our customers it really shows in the experience we give with every Charleston boat tour.
